Since the companies inception Image Gear has had significant involvement with the brokerage of used equipment. Most of the used equipment listed on this site is being represented on a consignment basis. The equipment is sold as is, however the potential buyer of the equipment has the opportunity to evaluate and test the gear for a brief period of time before finalizing the sale. Should technical evaluations, modifications or repairs be required to the used equipment, Image Gear will recommend qualified facilities that can perform these services. The charges for these services are not the responsibility of Image Gear and have to be worked out between the buyer and seller of the equipment. The procedure for the sale of used equipment is that the monies for the equipment are held in trust by Image Gear while the equipment is being evaluated and only paid to the equipment seller once the buyer has approved the sale. If for any reason the equipment is to be returned, the monies are fully refunded minus any shipping and handling charges. There is a small commission charged for completed sales that is paid to Image Gear by the seller from their proceeds of the sale. Because of the rapidly changing nature of the used equipment market not all available equipment is shown on these pages and sometimes items are sold before the pages can be updated. Buyers and sellers should contact us on a regular basis by email to learn of changes to the list and additions. Image Gear maintains a database of used equipment being bought and sold.
